This is the first picture I made on the CRT display, and also the first I made in Mario Paint. It was really challenting to work in Mario Paint, due to its many tedious tool systems. I really wish I could right-click to erase or use an alternate color like in MS Paint. Nonetheless, it came out ok. This introduced me to the challenges of photographic CRT displays, and I learned a lot from it. One thing I like about the Mario Paint images over the CRT ones made on my computer/tablet is that the pixels are very crisp and identifiable. The HDMI to RCA box I use tends to blur things a lot, since it operates at a high resolution. The fine sharp pixel-perfect details are great.
As for the image itself, I was very lost and had no idea what to draw, so I just ended up drawing something very predictable and comfortable. A cool colorful person with a big decorated hat and a weapon. That's classic me, as far as I can tell. Not much more to say about it.
